Abstract: How should we architect post-fabrication programmable computing devices in the era of 1 Tera-lambda-squared IC dies? In the 100 Million-lambda-squared die era, microprocessor architecture made the most of limited die area. Today, spatial computing architectures are viable alternatives offering greater performance per unit area on many tasks.
